What a way to finish the last month of the year!
Our baes set out to crush the California International Marathon on December 4th and did not disappoint!
Lety, Virginia, Mara, Aggie and Risa were our power house Full Marathon runners. Both Lety and Virginia dominated and set personal records for the distance. Lety shaved off 5 minutes and Virginia blasted through with a mind blowing finish of 2:56:46!! That's a 2x Boston Qualifier right there! Mara set that PR by running her very first marathon with a strong sub 4 finishing time! We are so proud of each and every one of them for putting in the work during those long training cycles and their outstanding performances! Shout out to coach Mike Olzinski of Nth Degree Athletic Club for those track sessions!
Team: Together Everyone Achieves More
With shifts in goals for some of our baes we ended up with 4 relay teams at CIM this year!
Team Hella Bae Road Ragers, Aiza & Jazz ran it in in 4:14:25
Team Hella Bae Running, JDL & JJong completed in 4:17:45
Team Hella Bae South Baes, Raven & Deanna finished in 4:28:00
Team Hella Bae Hustlers, Penelope & Val B rounded it out at 5:04:05
Considering the cold (rainy) start and some injuries our teams put all their heart into it, dug deep and didn’t let eachother down.

If you’re not running, you’re cheering! When the mind starts to bully the body there’s nothing like the support of your teammates encouraging you from the sidelines to give you that extra boost of confidence. We appreciate Angelina, Krystal, Sama & Ayako for coming out!
